To start from scratch

2 06 2008

I’m trying not to reflect alot on very hard philosophical issues since it might take a long time and give you no answers. But I think there is one thing that each of us have thought about at least once. The thing when we are trying to imagine the situation when we can start our life from scratch. Some people tell that they would like to do absolutely different things, to meet absolutely different people, so on. But personally I will not use that second chance in that way. The reason is the EXPERIENCE. All our mistakes, pitties, dids that we would like to change are invaluable. Once you’ve understood that something was not all right you become a better person.

So, I am sure that I could do more in the past and could do different. But I am sure also that anyway I’m happy and got alot of nice mess in my memory and my mind. I am sure that every morning we need to face a new day and smile to it, show it that we’ll make friends. I’ve tried some blogging before, it was LiveJournal; still have my blog there but it rather quite private, some lyrics, some spontaneous thoughts… After I saw today how nice is Ha’s blog and how much interesting for me information is there I decided to try this thing as well. We really need to talk less about knowledge sharing, collaboration communication, etc. We really need to DO this. And good start would be to show your own example.

I will keep this blog active and live with things that are more related to my work and to my real inner world. We need to be open. To learn this we need to learn how to express our thoughts, wishes, worries. Who never tries to express will never never be really opened to the surrounding world.

This is the first post in the new book. As time passes it will drawn deeper and deeper in the stack of posts and comments, but when I’m reading blogs of others I always track their work to the very first post. And it always tells a lot about the person.

Hope it will be interesting for people who want to know me closer.

I agree with you…. starting from scratch would only be wise if you did not make choices in life yourself. If you make a decision and it turns out bad…. well.. it’s your decision and you should not pity it.

I am with Oscar Wilde on this one ;-)
To regret one’s own experiences is to arrest one’s own development. To deny one’s own experiences is to put a lie into the lips of one’s life. It is no less than a denial of the soul.

All your experiences are due to your own choices, so have no regrets
