Simple story about a tricky system

8 06 2008

My friend Sergiy told me about one book. Accordingly to him this book was very cool and he completed it just in one day or smth like this.
So I decided to take a look. You know, there are a lot of books on the floor near my bed, they are all just for “taking a look” but some of them come up to the next category, a “to be read” category :)
The book is John Perkins’ “Confessions of an economical hitman”. And it’s a really simple story about a really complecated system. It’s about how people use money to make more money on the very high level, on the level of countries.
I’ve also completed it very quickly and must admit that it is very easy to read, very informative and provided me with understanding of a lot of facts that I was never thinking about before. Each of us I believe sometimes think that certain things are not for him. It was alike with me when concerning with politics, geopolitics, global economics, etc. But such book as this one breathe new concepts and ideas into your head and you start to be interested in things the day before you would rather tell your friend “Come on, let’s not think about this boring stuff”.
So my vote for this story as a good one.
